Classroom Rules and Expectations

As you know, children learn in many different ways. We will create an environment in which each child is able to enjoy success by actively participating in hands-on activities, communicating in oral and written format, and engaging in activities to develop and enhance literacy and phonological awareness skills. They will also be learning how to get along with others, practicing responsibility, and learning how to show respect for themselves and others. Some of these skills will be taught through our I-Care Rules which states that:

                   1. We listen to each other.

                   2. Hands are for helping not hurting.

                   3. We use I- Care Language (Please and Thank you).

                   4. We care about each other’s feelings.

                   5. We are responsible for what we say and do.
