Hello! My name is Kaya Lawrence and I have been teaching at Havana Magnet School for four years. 

I was born in Tampa, Florida and I have lived in Florida my entire life. I attended college at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University , where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a Minor in Elementary Education. Also, I have a Masters Degree in Reading Education Curriculum and Instruction: Reading with an Emphasis in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University.
