My name is Mrs. Quashier S. Flood-Strouble and I am the counselor at Havana Magnet School (GO EAGLES!). I have been employed at Havana Magnet School since the 2018-2019 school year. I completed my undergraduate degree and first Masters degree at Florida A&Am University between 2006 and 2009. I completed my Masters in School Counseling from Capella University in the summer of 2018, with a completed 600 hour internship at FAMU DRS (Go Baby Rattlers!). Before becoming a School Counselor I worked for several years at the Florida Department of Childrens and Families as an Abuse Counselor. This experience led me to a firm belief that counseling should be executed at an early age with our most vulnerable population (our children). Due to children being our future, I believe that they must have a strong foundation in Academics, Social/ Emotional, and Career Development in order to become productive and successful citizens.
