Meet Mr. Parish Williams, the Principal of Havana Magnet School. He is a resident of Tallahassee, Florida and a native of Havana, Florida. He perceives his life and career as a mission. He is a graduate of the Havana Northside Class of 1986. After finishing high school, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration/Political Science at Florida A&M University and Master’s Degree in Special Education/Educational Leadership from Florida State University. His tireless devotion to his students is also evident in his weekly mentoring meetings with a service group he founded, The Young Gentlemen’s Club. The organization was created to help pre-teen and teenage boys on campus reach their fullest potential; strengthen the bond of brotherhood; and, prepare for a healthy and productive future.

This year, through both face-to-face instruction and distance learning, Mr. Williams is looking forward to commencing another successful year at Havana Magnet. He is indeed an exceptional instructional leader who has earned the respect of the students, faculty and community. He is prepared to lead his faculty, staff and students into a new frontier as they soar to new heights, thus taking on a more innovative and engaging learning path in a digital realm.
